Great to hear you back at it. a fan from the Beavercreek days.
I was a big fan of Batdorf and Rodney starting in the early 70's. Particularly when I was feeling down - there music always cheered me up. Happy to see John is touring again. Have gone to two house concerts. Both have been terrific.
thanks from BHS 72. I knew Jackie at that time. Saw you sing "96 Tears" at Parkwood Elementary...! Thanks for "Something is Slipping Away" I am glad the spirit stills moves you....
Just another Daytonian who listened to you back in the 70s. My exwife mentioned she lived across the street from you during her high school days in Beavercreek - OH. Loved the sound!
Saw you and Mark in Dayton - Ohio in '72 or 73 opening for Pure Prarie League. You blew them away. Immediately became a fan - as did all of my college buds. The songs were incredible. We jammed for hours on end trying to duplicate your sound. Still listen to the music. Still amazed with the sound.
Been listening to and playing your songs since early 70"s just found your web site and started having major flashbacks!
To this day I still tell people I'd take the B&R albums to the desert island. I learned how to play by wearing our your albums and figuring out what I could by ear. Man would some chord charts be sweet now. Thanks for the music - see you in Dayton in September (I'm coming up from Jax - Fl).
Im glad to hear you again - you bring back tons of good memories - please play in Arizona!
I really enjoy your music. Waiting for a good copy of "Life is You" to come out on CD. It is one of my favorite albums. I worn out two copies so far!
want to see upcoming concerts. Will brings friends.also - will be sending you one or two of my songs. see what you can do-maybe collaborate? JoLynn

Great show at Musica Del Rio last Friday. Well over 2 hours of music and nobody wanted to go home. Thank you. Never before has James Lee been without a retort - good job. It was wonderful to meet Melanie and Tom & Tina. John you are welcome back anytime.Keep the music coming!! Fred
What a smart girl I was to come from the burgh and visit Monica and see you at the Canal Street Tavern! You were great--I didn't want you to stop playing and singing. I'm so glad Monica led me to you and am kinda thankful I didn't have to go the whole way to CA to see you! I gave away the cd's I got at Canal Street and am getting more. Welcome back! May your line run all the way to "Z" and beyond! I'm checking out Club Cafe and hope so much you'll be here soon!
Saw your show at the Kent Stage on Saturday - 3/31/07. Great show - thanks! Harkens me back to my college days when we would jam to your songs. Thanks for all the music!Ron
John - Just seen you live for the first time in over 30 years at Canel Street in Dayton - Ohio. You were great. Look forward to you and Mark coming back this fall.
Very good concert last evening John. Hoping to see you again when you start touring with Mark...maybe down at Canal - and definitely when you return to Kent Stage.
John... I agree with Anne...Thanks so much for making the trip to Kent - but it was a disappointing turnout. (We'll try and do better next time????) I brought two friends who had never heard your music and they LOVED it! One said..."I never knew the guitar could sound so beautiful"! Your songs always touch the soul - make you smile or do a combination of both! I'm grateful...Hollie
Thanks for making the stop in Kent tonight. I regret that we didn't welcome you in larger numbers. I enjoyed your sets - in particular your tune "Forgiveness." Do come back... Anne
I am looking so forward to seeing you at Kent State tonight! I "discovered" you in the 70's and used to blast "Can you see him" in my basement while dancing around a pool table. I think I know every cord by heart. ALL your tunes are so great and take me back to a wonderfully innocent time in my life. great lyrics - great tunes. Margie
Nice layout of the website. Do you play in Jacksonville - Florida? Cheers - KirkChamberlain.com
