Loved your music in the 70's along with Dan Schwenker of Ohio. He just sent me pics of your small concert of a week or so ago. What fond memories!

I really enjoyed your show at Dayton's Canal Street Tavern on the 19th - April. My wife and really enjoyed the music. Your show gave me an opportunity to meet someone who I have worked with for 18 years via telephone but never met face to face - your bassist for the night - Tom Leatherwood. Thanks for that opportunity.

John - Love the song "Home Again" and would like to learn it on guitar. Any place I can find tuning and guitar tabs? Also - do you have any stops in the St. Louis area for future shows?

Fans: I just saw John and James Lee in Decatur and they were awesome. My wife flew in from out of state just for the show and it was sooo worth it. Can't wait to see them again.

Hey John...every once in a while I come to look at YOUR guestbook. I know it's meant for YOU - but as a HUGE FAN - I really enjoy hearing what people say to you about your music...ESPECIALLY people who have just found you again after many - many years like I did. Music has changed ALOT over the past 30 or more years and I find it very comforting to see how true you have stayed to your craft and how many really smart people are STILL out there appreciating you. You already know I think you are "SIMPLY THE BEST"...and you are a pretty great guy too!!! EVER YOUR FRIEND & FAN - Charlette

John - I cannot even begin to tell you how thrilled I was to find your website. I have been a fan since probably the early '70s. Since the advent of digital music and these new fangled CD's I have been bustin' my ass trying to find Batdorf and Rodney on CD with no luck I might add. I was on Itunes and found a couple of albums and then I found your website. I'll be buying some of your stuff including your new stuff. If you get a chance try to come out to Northern Virginia and do some shows. Once again - great to see ya dude! Thanks for the music. Pat Hogan

Batdorf and Rodney were truly inspirational in my early guitar years. After 35 years - I just might pick up my Guild and start playing again ! Will you be coming to England in the near future?

I mentioned your music to an old friend today - which made me wonder if it was possible to get your old albums on CD. I was one of your biggest fans at the Kitchen at UNLV - and probably saw you perform more than anyone. I remember when you and Mark Rodney started performing together! What great music - and what a great time in my life. I'll have to listen to your new (?) music - but it is hard to believe that anything could compare to the classics. Thanks!
