WOW! Running the halls of CMT.com the other night and run across the page of Batdorf & Rodney and started to laugh and was completely amazed that I remembered all the words to the songs after all these years! My ex got the albums in the divorce so I hadn't heard these songs in 25 years at least. Ordered everything CMT shop had and CDbaby. Can't wait to get a hold of them again and my husband is impressed with what he heard off the websites. Managed to find Jackie - too - after 15 years and we are both looking forward to renewal of the friendship. You're a long way from Hooterville - boy!!! Spreading the word about ya on all the places I hang in cyberspace - think everyone will be very happy to hear your stuff. Especially love the "All Wood and Stones" album -- very impressive. Doing the little happy dance!!! Monica

Sun Jan 01 19:50:22 2006 Referred By: Google Discovered you and Mark when we were playing acoustic music in the Rochester - NY area in the mid seventies. We even did a cover of "Where Were You and I". The guitar work and the harmonies were an amazing quality the two of us aspired to...thanks! I wish we could play you on our radio show on I-95 in Danbury - CT. Check the website at wwwi95rock.com

2005-11-05 04:23:21 Your Album was the first album i ever picked out for myself. When I was 8 years old my dads buddy owned a record store in windsor ontario. He told me I could have any album i wanted. At the time i just looked at the album cover saw my name and looked at the cover with the faces in the letters and thought it was cool. All I NEED - is a great song and ive played it quite a bit. I mixed it in with some of my tapes that include Cream - Rush and others and it always makes my day to hear it. I still have the album and i played it tonight and i thought id type in your names to see if u still existed. Its great your still playing and if u ever get to Toronto or Montreal let me know. Oh yeah and dont forget to call rodney if ya get a chance. CHEERS!Ive got a cd comin out soon too its freetimefighters.com check it out if u get a chance. some of my music will be downloadable. Once again good to know your still making music i would have never known.

2005-10-30 06:23:36 John - I saw you and Mark on an open mic night in 1969 at the Three Muses in San Clemente. A guy named Al Elio won the competition and you guys showed up after he won. You asked if you could play a few songs before the paid band came on stage. You started out with Oh My Surprise! You blew us away! Glad to hear you are still rocking. Aloha!

2005-10-27 04:51:04 John - I saw you and Mark play in Las Vegas in 1972 at the old convention center. The one that looked like a flying saucer. I loved your music then and I love it now. Your lyrics seem to take me back to those earlier years every time I listen to them. The Album I had was long lost and today I refound it online. Thank you.
