Anyway I am in a band here in Carson City - Nevada - and we do cover songs from those albums. My band is called "Shotgun Madness" - so if your ever in the Reno - Carson City area - and we are playing somewhere - stop by and say hi.thanks for all the great music over the years.

Wed Dec 01 22:00:43 2004 Referred By: LUCK I'VE BEEN TRYING TO FIND A CD COPY OF "OFF THE SHELF" FOR YEARS. I BELIEVE I'VE WORN THE GROOVE OFF MY VINYL. I GRADUATED IN VEGAS AND REMEMBER YOUR SHOWS AND TOOK YOUR MUSIC EVERYWHERE. I HOPE TO BE ABLE TO CATCH A SHOW SOMEWHERE AND HOW GREAT IT WOULD BE IF YOU TWO PLAYED AGAIN TOGETHER. THE ESCONDIDO CENTER FOR THE PREFORMING ARTS WOULD BE AWESOME - SINCE I NOW LIVE CLOSE TO IT. THANKS FOR YOUR SITE.

Mon Nov 29 14:13:58 2004 Thanks for having a direct source bio online. Yall floored some of us acoustic nuts years ago with the format. I'm so out of it - good luck. It must take a bundle to have a good guitar now compared to 73-75.

Sun Oct 31 17:35:33 2004 John--I have followed you since "Off the Shelf". I was part of a duo in Hawaii and we played almost every tune on the that album. In fact I introduced Kalapana (a popular local group) to Batdorf and Rodney and met you and Mark back stage at the Waikiki Shell during your first concert in Hawaii. You guys were awesome. You and Mark have influenced my guitar style immensely. I hope to see Batdorf and McClean soon in concert. Aloha - Max

Wed Nov 24 1:33:52 2004 Referred By: Your incredible music The music of Batdorf & Rodney is the finest rock music of its era. It will also endure as some of the best rock every produced. I still am in awe of the brilliance - creativity and musical talent. I actually think of Batdorf and Rodney as 1960s music because of its optimisim and sense of possiblity. I truly believe that if this music had appeared in 1965-1968 - it would have rated very high nationally. The people I introduce your music to are amazed and most love it. Good art is always eventually discovered and it endures for eternity because it touches a part of the inner self that can only be touched by music. You have achieved everything music promises to be with this outstanding music.Dr. Jed Davis - Athletic Director/Girls' Basketball - Seattle Hebrew Academy -- Northwest Yeshiva high School

Wed Nov 24 12:13:33 2004 Referred By: Hello from a fan whose older sister brought "Batdorf & Rodney - Off The Shelf" home from college in 1973 and turned her younger brother onto the possibility of playing acoustic guitar that has kept my hands and mind busy and healthy for the better part of the last 30 years. Now the chief wildlife biologist for Yellowstone National Park and still listing to B&R LPs on my old turntable. Embrace the chaos and find the love!
