Fri Aug 26 16:05:00 2005 I played the Batdorf & Rodney album at the first station I worked for in Eugene - Oregon 30 years ago and was delighted to see your name on the "All Wood and Stones" album. What a wonderful CD! Glad to find you again after all those years.

Sat Aug 27 4:29:47 2005 There's an incredible feeling that comes over one when he or she is able to locate a treasure they lost years before. Such is the case for me when I discovered I could get the original Batdorf & Rodney CDs a year or so ago. I absolutely fell in love with the self-titled album they put out in 1971 or thereabouts. I was in the military - stationed at Ft. Meade Md - and listened to their music on WHFS in Bethesda - MD. Over the years - I had - then lost - the albums. I never thought these obscure (but superb) albums would be available on CD. Now - as frosting on the cake - I've discovered this site and will now be able to catch up on the works of John Batdorf... and there's apparently a LOT of catching up to do! Is this Internet great or what? Thank you - John - for some wonderful music that got me through some very tough times in my life... and became a kind of soundtrack for some pretty great moments too. Like the lyrics say - "All my life - I've waited for this day - I am home again!"

Sun Aug 28 12:05:54 2005 Would you please verify that any of your Batdorf & Rodney lyrics were ever composed by college students and purchased for your recordings? I've been attempting to verify a Mike Chester who claims to have been a composer of one of your song's lyrics from the early 70s. Thanks!

Wed Sep 14 12:33:11 2005 Wow... Picked up AllWood and Stones yesterday 9/13/05 and was suprised to see the name John Batdorf. 3 of my favorite albums of all time and yes I have the Silver album as well. Ain't it Like Home and Musician two of the most beautiful melodies in my entire collection. Loved the new album (sorry I still call these things albums) just wish it was your vocals on everything. Psyched to see that the first three are coming to CD. I still get chills listening to my own Best of Batdorf and Rodney mix. Wishing you well and thanking you for many years of wonderful memories.

Sat Sep 10 11:26:01 2005 Saw your "Off the Shelf" CD on eBay. I have the vinyl album that someone gave to me years ago. I live in the Cincinnati - Ohio area. My dad and his father lived in Hamilton - Ohio. I wonder if we may be related? My son and I both are musicians and we have worked on some local recording projects. Are you the group that played in Dayton - Ohio years ago?
