I sure hope you read all this adoration. You guys deserve it. I was turned on to the first 3 albums from a buddy in college in - believe it or not - 1981. Well after their release. We all knew all those tunes by heart. I couldn't believe the ease with which your style of playing came through on the recordings. I know that took a lot of practice and love for the music to get right. We played various instruments - and we spent some time figuring out the changes; the minor 7ths - 9ths - etc. Nice progressions that really worked well for jam sessions with the college friends. You have no idea that in Upstate New York - nestled on the shores of Lake Ontario - there sat sometimes dozens of people singing along to your tunes while we traded licks with the reflection of the moon over that magnificent lake.None of us ever saw you play live - but we did the next best thing by keeping the spirit of the music going within our own community of friends. When I talk with the guy who turned us all on to the music - we mention how much it meant to us all.For that - I thank you. Again - you guys deserve all the love and adoration you're receiving here.

John - I've always loved your music! Went to Beavercreek w/Jackie. 1972. Your new CD is great & would love to know the tunings you used on it by song. "I Don't Always Win" in particular. Beautiful! Keep it up! Phil

I first listened to you back in the mid-70's. Loved it then - and loved what I heard from the new stuff sounds great. I would love to come see you in Columbus on the 16th but I will be playing in my own "over-50" band - the Rocky Fork String Band. Glad to hear you back in action. It's fun isn't it?

Nice to see you are still doing well. Saw you at the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach in the early 70s and then again in Culver City last year I believe. I was also pleased to see you and Mark get back together for a while. Full circle eh. Continued success.
