I initially picked this up when traveling in Southern California in the early 1970s. The music was the original, very tight, and magical. I’ve recently played this LP again and it remains a classic for the era and is still fresh. Wonderful, masterfully played compositions with beautiful vocals and guitar.

This single most under-appreciated album of the ’70s. A superb record. I still play the vinyl all the time.

This is one of my all time favorites with its tight harmonies and superb acoustic guitar work. The rhythm and lead guitars interweave magically throughout this whole album. These guys were totally underrated for the quality of music they created on their three albums. Still on my regular listening rotation to this day.

Found Batdorf and Rodney by accident while looking up some other music. Have been listening to cuts off of the various CD’s. What a fabulous duo. I wish I had found them back in the day. Clive Davis is an idiot. These guys were perfection. With the guitar work and harmonies, they should have been BIG. Its too bad they were not given the proper support and distribution. I am hooked some 50+ years too late.
