John - Listening to a Doobie Bros. Cd that reminded me of one the songs off the 1st B & R album. Don't know why but at our age flashbacks seem to be a regular thing. So - I Googled Batdorf and Rodney and here I am. I bought your album when heard from buds in Beavercreek about it. Really liked it and shared with people in Montana. Lived there - Missoula - on and off thru the 70's & early 80's. They liked it as well and at that time Montana was full of aspiring musicians so there was credibility. Had been sharing music with this crowd - stuff I'd heard in Ohio and they in turn - were sharing CA - etc. music. One of my roomies stole your album when he moved to N. Mexico. Hope this helped spread the word. Doubt you remember me - but I considered you a friend in Beavercreek. We used to ride together once in a while playing Little League. How many people know you were a pretty good ball player? In school people called me Mondello. Hung around with a few you may remember - Bob Beatty - Paul Kirchner - who convinced to move to Montana - where my mind grew as well as my hair. Saw at least 2 names on this post that were buddies of mine - Bill Sword and Jack Linville. Saw you with Harry Chapin - but a little too backword to say Hi - maybe a little too high to say Hi. I get to listen some of your music on this site as I am a fan. See you're in Portland in Oct. Going to do my best to go - but probably won't say Hi. Too something. I live in Wenatchee - Wa - now - so just a half day drive. Good to see you're still at it!!!
