Date: Tue May 02 5:04:22 2006 Lebanon OH I saw Batdorf & Rodney about '74 near UCONN. It was a religious experience. No other concert ever hit the core of my being like that one. I think I may have even told them that on break.(no pick-up intended)So crisp - so clear - so TIGHT! Later - I became an entertainer myself. Tonight I was surfing and just "rediscovered" the music. Now I see Batdorf will be in Dayton in just 2 weeks! My first thoughts are - I can't take smokey bars anymore - alas - it's a smoke free event! That's too much of a coincidence to pass up. But how will it be without Rodney? Thanx for being some of the great memories of my youth. Any chance it was a Holy Ghost anointing I was perceiving?
