Hello John. I have followed your music since 'Off the Shelf' first came out many years ago. No matter how many years pass - the music stays fresh and meaningful - which is quite an accomplishment. I once had the chance to see Batdorf & Rodney in Portland - Oregon but one of you guys was sick with the flu and had to cancel. On the bill with you was some unknown guy named Jim Croce who I'd only ever heard of from 'Bad - Bad Leroy Brown' and I could have cared less about hearing that so I cashed in my tickets for a refund and went home. Within a matter of months he died in a plane crash and the good stuff came out. I have always regretted both having not had the chance to see Batdorf & Rodney on your first tour and for having never seen Jim Croce. I can only imagine what a magical night it would have been to see both Batdorf & Rodney and Jim Croce in a single show. Thank you for a lot of great music - John.
