2005-08-15 04:17:24In the early 70s I heard a song about 4 times only on FM radio. It was "By Today" - and it blew me away. I could still remember the melody - guitar solo bridge - and some of the lyrics just last week - some 30 years later. It just popped into my head.I never knew who wrote or performed that song until about five minutes ago. I was on the Allmusic.com (AMG) site - and on a whim I searched for "By Today". I cant say why I never tried this before - but Im really glad I just did.I have been a guitarist - singer and songwriter for most of my adult life. Sadly - like so many - Ive let it go in the last ten years - and so Im no longer a practicing musician. All I can say is - you have played something close to what Ive heard in my head for the last 30 years.Im really glad to have found your site - and you can be sure Im going to order both of these records right now.
