Now that all the details are set… Singer, songwriter and performer, John Batdorf, is coming back to our NEO neighborhood for a solo matinee performance at the Bottle House Brewery on Saturday, April 29. Like many of you, I’ve been listening to John Batdorf since the early 1970’s in his Batdorf & Rodney days and he continues to make truly outstanding music today He’ll be sharing some songs from his cool 2016 CD, “Beep Beep,” and new music from his upcoming release, in addition to old favorites. We’ve hosted him several times, including last spring, and he’s a great storyteller in performance. And the Bottle House Brewery is a special place; intimate, fine acoustics, with excellent craft beers and other beverages right in the ‘hood. This early showtime will allow you to plan an evening activity, too. You are welcome to bring your own snacks and food, too, which is cool, and their kitchen will open at 4 pm if you’d like something more substantial. If you enjoy acoustic rock, or just appreciate a superb guitarist who talks about life’s most emotional moments with beautiful music, you will really enjoy John in this ENCORE performance in CLE / NEO!! Put this one on your calendar!!! If you’d like to attend, PLEASE PRE-REGISTER with me:, and hopefully pre-pay so we know how many to expect AND to make certain we don’t go over the capacity of the room. And please share with a friend or two! Details follow: · Who: John Batdorf, superb singer / songwriter / performer (Some of my favorite songs, which I think you’ll like: Can You Hear Me Now?, Ain’t it Like Home, By Today, Real Life, Can You See Him, Home Again, Don’t Give Up on Dreams. Many more to hear at Amazon or his website, plus read his interesting backstory there.) · What: solo acoustic show – he travels light!! · When: Saturday, April 29, 2017, approx. 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Come early, as the bar opens at 2:00 pm. · Where: the Bottle House Brewery 2050 Lee Road, Cleveland Hts., OH 44118. Just a few blocks north of Cedar Road on Lee Road for those of you who live on Mars or the West Side of Cleveland. · Cost: Just $20 per admission. Checks payable to John Batdorf, though cash will be accepted at the door with pre-registration. Mail check to Chris Abood, 24151 Hazelmere Rd, Shaker Hts, OH 44122. · There: Full cash bar. Feel free to bring your own snacks (NOT your own booze!!). The kitchen will open at 4:00 pm. · Why: John is traveling through the Midwest doing gigs and invited us to host a show, as we did last year. We couldn’t say no! · Questions: Chris Abood 216.312.0730 or
